sms warning system for drivers 3 Months, 1 Week ago
While GPS units and other devices can be great at warning drivers about fixed speeding cameras, there is always the problem of police hiding in bushes looking to make a quick buck from speeders.

So we’ve just launched a new sms warning system in South Africa to help us poor drivers slow down and avoid those nasty run ins with the police.
The service is called SMS RADAR, with a basic principle of everyone warning each other over SMS.

Members join the area they drive the most, and start receiving tips from other drivers on those roads.
If you get caught in a sneaky speed trap, you should then send a warning to the system.
Your warning is then spread out to all other drivers on those roads.

The principle of speed traps is to slow people down, not make a quick buck for the traffic department.
The SMS Radar system is designed to do just this, slow us all down in time.

Please note, although no boardcode and smiley buttons are shown, they are still useable
